In 2020, Moscow Endocrine Plant FSUE (administered by the Ministry of industry and trade) has taken measures to implement eight executive orders of the Government of the Russian Federation concerning drug safety of distribution of unregistered drugs and medical products.
Pursuant to orders of the Government of the Russian Federation (No. 1986-r dated September 5th of 2019, No. 2170-r dated September 25th of 2019, No. 270-r dated 13th of February of 2020) and regulations of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 5th of 2020 No. 230 "concerning the import of a particular batch of unregistered medicinal products containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances for medical care of a particular patient or group of patients into the Russian Federation," Moscow Endocrine Plant FSUE duly purchased, imported and shipped following unregistered psychotropic drugs:
12,522 packages of Diazepam, 5 mg/2.5 ml No. 5, 10 mg/2.5 ml No. 5 rectal solution (Desitin, Germany);
26,734 packages of Clobazam, 5 mg No. 30 capsules, 10 mg No. 30 pills (Sanofi, France);
2,134 packages of Midazolam, 2.5 mg/0.5 ml No. 4, 5 mg/1 ml No. 4, 7.5 mg/1.5 ml No. 4, 10 mg/2 ml No. 4 oromucosal solution (Takeda, Japan, Shire Division, Ireland);
873 packages of Phenobarbital, 15 mg/5 ml, 500 ml No. 1 elixir (Thornton & Ross, Scotland) to provide salvage therapy for children to relieve convulsive syndrome.
75 regions of the Russian Federation emphasized the need for these medicines on the basis of decisions of medical commissions of medical organizations in 2019 and 2020.
Pursuant to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation (No. 1059-r dated April 17th of 2020 "concerning providing medical care to a limited group of children with special pathology"), the Company purchased, imported, and delivered 1,500 packages of Oncaspar, which is a lyophilizate for solution for intravenous and intramuscular administration of 750 IU/ml, 5ml No. 1 (Servier, France) for children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (hematopoietic system malignant tumor). Oncaspar has been shipped to 59 regions of the Russian Federation in accordance with the distribution plan defined by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
In addition, as part of the implementation of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation (No. 3100-r dated November 25th of 2020) concerning provision of emergency medical care to a limited group of patients with particularly severe pathology (multiple myeloma, progressive ovarian cancer, polcythemia vera) the company has purchased, imported and delivered 2,500 packages of Melphalan, which is a lyophilizate for the preparation of a solution for intravascular injection completed with a solvent (Aspen Pharma Trading Limited). The drug was shipped to 10 medical institutions designated by the Russian Ministry of Health.
In order to comply with the order of the Government of the Russian (No. 3353-r of the Russian Federation dated December 15th of 2020) to prevent and / or eliminate the consequences of a new coronavirus infection outbreak in the territory of the Russian Federation, the Company purchased and imported unregistered drugs in accordance with the procedure below:
1 800 000 vials of Methylprednisolone sodium succinate, which is a powder for injection of 40 mg;
Enoxaparin sodium, which is a solution for injection with pre-filled syringe, 6000 anti-Xa IU/0.6 ml in the amount of 50,000 syringes, and 4000 anti-Xa IU/0.4 ml in the amount of
649,404 syringes;
Heparin sodium, which is a solution for injection of 6250 IU / ml, 2 ml ampoules in the amount of 258,000 ampoules.
Moscow Endocrine Plant FSUE - ENDOPHARM has fulfilled order No. 703-r of the Government of the Russian Federation dated March 21st of 2020 in terms of providing citizens and medical institutions with the necessary number of medical devices (medical face masks).
Production of up to 4 million medical masks per day has been organized in the second quarter of 2020 at the Pochep branch of the Moscow Endocrine Plant FSUE in the Bryansk region. A full production cycle was established using domestic raw materials in the shortest possible time. It includes the manufacturing of high-tech filter material (meltblown) and the production of components such as nasal fixators and elastic bands for ear hooks. It has provided citizens and medical institutions of the country with the necessary amount of personal respiratory protection equipment.
