On October 5, 2019 FSUE Moscow Endocrine Plant took part in the grand opening of the in-patient child hospice “Home with a lighthouse”. The building at the address of Dolgorukovskaya, 30 was received by a charitable organization for gratuitous rent in 2013 and during the next six years was completely renovated. The four-story building houses an office of an outpatient palliative care service that provides assistance to about 800 patients a year, and 15 wards, thanks to which about 400 children a year will be able to stay with their families in a hospital if necessary.
Within the opening ceremony, along with words of joy and gratitude to everyone who made the implementation of this project possible, the importance of provision of small patients with everything that is necessary to improve their life quality was discussed.
Special attention was paid to the availability of the necessary forms of drugs that are not registered currently in our country to provide medical care to children. "Today we can say that they will be with patients, we will do our best so that there are no interruptions in their supply. The most important thing is that our children do not suffer”, - Tatyana Golikova, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, emphasized in her speech.
