On July 12, the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrei Bocharov, visited the Volgograd branch of the Institute of Catalysis by G.K. Boreskov of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the 50th anniversary of its foundation. He got acquainted with the results of joint activities with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Moscow Endocrine Plant achieved in extremely tight schedule and aimed at creating the chemical and pharmaceutical production of active pharmaceutical ingridients, unique in its structure and capabilities.
The new production of substances from materials of animal origin established by FSUE Moscow Endocrine Plant will allow Russian manufacturers of pharmaceutical products moving to a new level, giving the opportunity to produce modern, high-quality, safe and affordable medicinal products independently from the import.
In the short run, the works will be completed on scaling the technology processes of obtaining substances from materials of animal origin hosted by the Institute of Catalysis, equipped with actual high-technology industrial machinery and necessary physical resources by the efforts of our Enterprise.
High-qualified specialists of the Institute of Catalysis in co-operation with the Enterprise's employees working on a rotation basis in Volgograd performed process flow optimization successfully, and the data obtained were used in the designing of a new pharmaceutical plant - the subsidiary of FSUE Moscow Endocrine Plant.
