The Moscow Department of Health together with public and medical organizations of the city implements the project “Moscow without pain”.
The initiative was put forward by the Vera Hospice Charity Foundation, with which the FSUE Moscow Endocrine Plant has been cooperating for a long time to increase the availability of anaesthetics for palliative care. The aim of the project is to support patients suffering from pain, to ensure guaranteed, timely and high-quality treatment of pain in patients of metropolitan medical organizations, regardless of the cause of the pain, its features, strength and duration.
Experts and project participants carry out work in several directions at once: wide informing of patients about the possibilities of timely pain control; improvement of patient anaesthesia algorithms for various clinical situations; informing of the professional medical community about the formation of a culture of pain control; systematic training of health workers in the principles of analgesic therapy; the implementation of effective mechanisms for monitoring of the availability of pain control and the prompt resolution of patient problems.
The 24-hour information channel "Moscow-24" has prepared a special program dedicated to this project. Specialists of the FSUE Moscow Endocrine Plant also took part in the filming of the program. With their help, viewers were able to see what modern pharmaceutical production that meets international standards is. Employees of the Enterprise, using the example of one of the workshops, showed how the release of anaesthetics is carried out, and what are the requirements for their quality. In addition, one of the laboratories where the development and testing of new solid-state drugs are carried out was shown to viewers.
