On October 6, 2016, the working meeting took place which involved the chief external anaesthesiology and resuscitation expert of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Igor Vladimirovich Molchanov, and representatives of FSUE Moscow Endocrine Plant.
Pain is a global problem. It has various reasons and in many cases remains a “larvate symptom”.
In course of the meeting, changes in legislation were discussed along with the development of new clinical recommendations (treatment guidelines) and implementation of innovative products for using in anaesthesia and postoperative anaesthesia.
Changes in rules and regulations are oriented to protection of patient’s rights, to relieving the pain associated with diseases or medical interventions using accessible methods and medicinal products.
Clinical recommendations for anaesthesiology and resuscitation developed by chief external experts of all constituents of the Russian Federation, heads of profile scientific organisations and leading scientists will raise standards of healthcare delivery in this field. Professional and educational standards have been developed, relevant education resources have been prepared.
This range of measures can rise the quality of healthcare delivery in the area of anaesthesiology and resuscitation and will provide doctors with simple algorithms for the management of patients suffering from pain. Patient should be treated with not he is given but with what is indicated for him.
