Daria Tuchapskaya, Deputy Director for Science of the Pochep Branch, and Irina Dorofeeva, Head of the Corporate and External Communications Department of FSUE Endopharm, visited Vyatka State University, where they got acquainted with the scientific and technical base and a direction of the research work of the university. Also, the specialists of the Enterprise held a meeting with students of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology of Vyatka State University; they spoke about the socially significant tasks and plans for the development of FSUE Endopharm.
Currently, the Enterprise includes 4 production sites, 2 of which are in Moscow and 2 in the Bryansk region. FSUE Endopharm produces more than 140 types of medicines, as well as APIs, reference materials and medical devices.
The structure of the Enterprise includes its own subdivisions of scientific and pharmaceutical developments, a vivarium, and an accredited testing laboratory. The number of personnel of FSUE Endopharm has increased by 1.5 times over the previous 5 years. Investments in R&D by the Enterprise have been increased 12 times, about 60 new medicines have been introduced.
The opportunities offered by FSUE Endopharm in the Pochep branch to young professionals without work experience were of particular interest to students: an adaptation and training program, interesting tasks, competitive salaries, a bonus system based on performance, free modern comfortable housing, opportunities for professional development and career growth, both in the divisions of the branch, and with the transfer to the Moscow branches of the enterprise.
Daria Tuchapskaya clarified that students and graduates of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology of Vyatka State University can do an internship and find a job in the Pochep branch.
In the next few years, large-scale production of APIs extracted from plant and animal raw materials, as well as by chemical and biotechnological synthesis methods, will be organized here.
“Now the branch offers the most favorable conditions for young specialists. Students can try themselves in different directions: analytics, microbiology, biotechnology, organic synthesis. Until 2025, there is an opportunity to gain unique experience in organizing large-scale production of pharmaceutical substances, take part in technology transfer, and also make a good career by joining such a large-scale project at the very beginning. All you need is to have a hard-working nature and a desire to work,” emphasized Deputy Director of the Pochep branch.
Irina Dorofeeva noted that she was agreeably surprised by the scientific and technical base of the Institute for conducting practical and laboratory classes for students, research for masters and graduate students:
“Not every university provides students with the opportunity to work routinely on such unique modern equipment. You are very lucky! I’m very grateful to the teachers and the leadership of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology of Vyatka State University for understanding the importance and significance for the industry of the practical work of profile students in the learning process.”
At the end of the meeting, students could ask the representatives of FSUE Endopharm their questions, apply for an internship and submit their CVs.
“We hope that the visit of representatives of FSUE Endopharm to Vyatka State University will not be the last one. Perhaps someone will decide today to work at this truly unique enterprise,” summed up the event Ekaterina Martinson, director of the Institute of Biology and Biotechnology of Vyatka State University.
