When buying a medical product at a pharmacy, open the cardboard pack and make sure that the medical product, instructions for use, and a plastic cap-dropper (for Emoxipin eye drops) are in place.
2. A certificate of compliance and / or a declaration of quality compliance with the requirements of regulatory documentation accompany each batch of medicines. The pharmacy employee must provide them for review at your request.
3. Pay attention to the expiration date. It must be acceptable. The stamp "valid until 05 17" means that the medical product must be used before may 1, 2017.
4. The series number is printed above the "use before" stamp. For example, the series number 230614 means that this series is the 23rd in order, produced in June 2014.
5. The batch number and expiration date are printed on the flap of the cardboard pack, on the blister pack, on the label of the ampoule/bottle.
6. At home, carefully read the instructions for use of the medical product before you start taking/using this medicine.
7. Keep the manual, you may need it later.

9. This medical product is prescribed to you personally and should not be passed on to others.
10. If you bought eye drops in a plastic package (tube-dropper or bottle-dropper), please note that the instructions for using this package are printed on the side or back of the cardboard pack.
11. Instructions for using the dropper tube:
· open the dropper tube, turning the lid around the axis (don’t cut off the lid with scissors!);
· instill the drops by pressing on the body of the dropper tube;
· close the dropper tube with the lid until it stops.
12. Instructions for use of the dropper bottle:
· turn the cap clockwise until the neck is punctured;
· turn the cap counterclockwise and remove it;
· instill the drops by pressing on the body of the dropper vial;
· close the dropper bottle with the cap by turning clockwise until it stops.
13. Observe the storage conditions of the medical product. They are indicated on the side of the cardboard pack and in the Instructions for use of the drug.
14. The phrase "Store in a place protected from light" means that you can not leave the medicine in a place that is illuminated by direct sunlight or other bright light.
15. The phrase "Store at a temperature no higher than 25 °C" means that you need to store the medicine in conditions from 2 to 25 °C (i.e. in the refrigerator or in a non-heated room).
16. The phrase "Store at a temperature no higher than 15 °C" means that you need to store the medicine in conditions from 2 to 15 °C (i.e. in the refrigerator or in a cool room).
17. The phrase "Store at a temperature no higher than 8 °C" means that you need to store the medicine in conditions from 2 to 8 °C (i.e. in the refrigerator)
